We chartered a Lagoon 460 for 7 days in the Abacos and I cannot say enough good things about our experience. My wife and 3 boys ages 8-14 thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time. The boat was big enough for everyone to have their space and just enjoy the Caribbean. The boat was in great shape/ was very well maintained and had all of the bells and whistles necessary for extending time away from civilization. I found the Abacos and its out islands extremely easy to navigate and small enough that at any given time we could raise the sails or crank the motor and be in a restaurant with 2 hours. That being said we also could easily find ourselves virtually alone if we wanted. We spent all but 1 night anchored out. Find a sand bottom and you will be set. The boat really felt like home to us for 7 days and I don’t think anyone was terribly eager to leave in the end. The Lagoon 460 is a beast and a dream to handle. With twin 75 horse yanmars you could never raise the sails and make good time without much noise. In 7 days we burned about 100 gallons of diesel between genset and propulsion. Well worth it for the AC at night which gets downright chilly! The staff at Navigare was very professional and accommodating. They also were always there when I had a technical or navigational question. If you are considering doing this sort of trip don’t hesitate to go with them you will have the vacation of a lifetime.

What a fantastic crew at the Abaco base in Marsh Harbour. The boat was great and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our time in the Abacos immensely ans can't wait to come back and charter with Navigare again.

Wonderful experience! Enjoyed our time on the Lagoon 51 for 2 weeks. Top notch service- those who assisted us went above and beyond. The boat fit 11 of us just fine and it didn’t feel crowded. Loved the shade so we can hang out on the top with the captain.

Absolute best charter we could have asked for. Had issues bringing our boat over a few times and we figured out the charter with Navigare Charters and it could not have been better! Will 100% be coming back and chartering again

The staff in the Marsh Harbor is absolutely fantastic- I especially appreciate Rosie and Nas at the base, and Dawn Fingers was amazing with the booking! The boats are well cared for, the sailing is wonderful, and the marina is the best we have ever sailed from with a nice local bar right next door, all new docks, and great showers. I will for sure charter from Navigare again.

The absolute best way to see Abaco! Who knew chartering a sail boat could be so affordable. This was our first time doing this and the experience could not have been better. The staff were incredible throughout the entire process and the vessel itself was in superb condition. No issues at all. We can't wait to sail again!

We’ve chartered with many companies throughout the Caribbean and Navigare has been the best with customer service to quality of the sail cats. Dawn Fingers was awesome with our reservation and the team at the bases have been top notch. This was our first time in Marsh Harbour, Bahamas and team and marina is amazing! We rented Bali 4.4 and it was phenomenal. Navigate Yachting was very thorough with check in process (explaining maps, best spots for various things, etc) and boat tour and how everything works! Professional, attentive and thorough! No issues while we were out for 7 nights. Would definitely rent from this company again!

What a great trip and wonderful experience! My wife and I were fortunate to spend 5 days on the catamaran Happy Day through Catnip Charters. The entire experience with the team from Navigare at the Conch Inn Marina was a delight. From boarding in the marina, to coming into port on occasion and ultimately disembarking, the Navigare Team handled everything with professionalism and competency. The vessel itself, Happy Day through Catnip Charters, was very impressive. The cabins provided all the storage and sleeping comfort that would be expected on a boat this size. The common areas were extremely comfortable and large. The galley and saloon made it feel like “a condo on water”. Even with all this comfort, it was still very impressive to sail in incredible silence from Key to Key. Although my wife was initially concerned about motion sickness, this was never an issue due to the size of the boat and the protected waterways in the Abacos. With regard to provisions, there are two walkable stores that can prove your food and drink needs. I highly recommend Jimmy’s for your drink needs. There is so much storage on the boat that having provisions for 5 days or more is not an issue. I would recommend the Happy Day through Catnip Charters for everyone looking for a unique vacation experience.
